It has always been a problem of spore collection in fungi specially where substantial quantities of spores were required for any physiological and/or biochemical studies. It is felt that during the course of studies different workers have used several methods to collect the spores of fungi. And, the fluctuating data, thus, obtained have never been absolute and reliable. Keeping the view in mind the present work is an attempt to review the various methods of spore collection in fungi in general and rather better methods in particular.
