The genus Indicovalipora was erected by Shinde and Deshmukh in 1985 from intestine of Varanus indicus as type species I.marathawadaensis. Later on they added following four new species under this genus i.e. 1. I.varanusi, 2. I.aurangabadensis, 3. I.pathriensism, 4. I.indicus. The present communication, deals with the description, of a new species, of the same genus Indicovalipora singhi n.sp. from the intestine of dead Varanus, collected near Sangamner, Tq. Sangamner, Dist. Ahmednagar (M.S.).
